The Orange Tree is a romantic holiday house in Fagundo, in the Puntagorda area in the sunny north western part of the island.
The house is situated near the village of Puntagorda at ±650M above sea level and offers sleeping accommodation for 1 or 2 persons.
The house is surrounded by the natural beauty of La Palma and has good views up towards the mountains, over the area and down to the Atlantic Ocean.

The peace and quiet, the sunsets and at night thousands of stars make the Orange Tree a place were you can enjoy relaxing holiday.

Accommodation
The Orang Tree has a living room, kitchen and 1 bedroom with en-suite bathroom. The living room, bedroom and bathroom are on the top floor, the kitchen is on the lower floor.
		In the living room you'll find a comfortable sofa and chairs. The doors open onto the covered balcony. The stairs (12 steps) lead you to the kitchen. Cool winternights will be warm and romantic by the fire. There is SAT TV/radio, CD/cassette hifi system and books.

The cosy kitchen has a dining table with chairs, 4 hob gas stove, refrigerator, coffee machine, a good selection of kitchen utensils ad there is small wood stove. Outside is a terrace for a breakfast in the morning sun.

In the bedroom is a large bed with 2 seperate matrasses (100x200M) of good quality. There are bedside tables, a wardrobe and a mirror. The en-suite bathroom has a shower, wash basin and WC. Both rooms have sea view and the doors open onto the balcony.

Outside
The Orange Tree garden has several cornes where you can sit to enjoy nature and views from sunrise until the sunset. There are 2 tables, 4 chairs, 2 sunlounges and 2 parasols. In the garden you'll find several trees, fruit trees and flowers.

Area

Puntagorda is one of the most beautiful areas of La Palma, is in the north-west of the island and about 1,5 hours drive from the airport.
Puntagorda has various shops, a dispensing chemist, butcher, banks with cash dispensers, a post office, restaurants, typical local bars, public swimming pool and on Saturdays and Sundays there is a market in the Mercadillo selling local produce.
In January the almond trees start flowering in Puntagorda. Every year, at the end of January or beginning of February, Puntagorda celebrates the Festival of the Flowering Almond.
The area around Puntagorda is a must for nature lovers. There are many and varied walking paths, view points, some old windmils and El Fayal, a beautiful pine forest with barbecue and picnic area and childrens playground.
El Puerto has access to the sea. There is no beach, but in the summer months you can swim in the ocean.
Puntagorda is ideally situated for trips to the north of La Palma and the highest point of the island Roque de Los Muchachos.
It is ±45 minutes drive to the town of Los Llanos with the famous Plaza de España and the beautiful streets and houses. The sandy beach at Tazacorte is a ±35 minutes drive.
